spiral wound membranes with a tube
Spiral wound membrane Laboratory
SEPRA offers several polymeric spiral wound membranes to be used in laboratory testing (MEMBRATEST system), consisting of polymeric membrane sheets glued to supports and wrapped around a central tube. The feed flow is pumped into the membrane head through the spirals and is filtered into the central tube; concentrate comes out of the head.
Typical uses:
- Concentration of sugars, antibiotics, proteins, enzymes, organic substances ;
- Color Removal;
- Desalination;
- Fractionation of different molecular weight particles in acqueous solutions;
- Oily emulsion separation.
